1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms apply to your installation, access, and use of RGB Screen & Pixel Check, including when the same application is displayed as RGB Screen Light · Pixel Check or Pixel Check.

The app is provided as a general-purpose Android utility. These Terms do not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency, professional-client relationship, medical relationship, or other fiduciary relationship between you and Naladimarth.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the app and is incorporated into these Terms by reference where legally permitted.

2. License and Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, Naladimarth grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices that you own or control for lawful personal use or lawful internal business use.

This license allows ordinary use of the app, including use by photographers, creators, technicians, or other users who may use the screen-light or display-testing functions as part of their own lawful work. It does not give you ownership of the app or permission to redistribute or commercially exploit the software itself.

Unless applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you agree that you will not, and will not assist another person to:

• copy, reproduce, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the app except where expressly permitted by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code from, tamper with, or bypass technical protections in the app, except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• rent, lease, sell, resell, sublicense, redistribute, republish, or make the app available as a competing software product without permission from Naladimarth;
• remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices contained in the app;
• use the app in a way that violates applicable law, regulation, platform rules, or third-party rights.

3. Eligibility and Minors

The app's Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and over. The app is not designed or marketed primarily for children.

You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to agree to these Terms.

Because the app can display bright screens, flashing lights, and rapidly changing colours, parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether any use by a minor under their supervision is appropriate.

4. Intended Use and Responsible Use

The app is intended for lawful display-related functions such as:

• previewing and selecting screen colours;
• using the screen as a coloured or white light source;
• adjusting shade and screen brightness;
• showing fullscreen colours;
• automatic or fluid colour effects;
• strobe or flashing visual effects;
• Pixel Check visual inspection;
• keeping a clean colour display open using the app's Lock mode;
• photography, video, ambient-light, decorative, and similar uses.

You are responsible for selecting suitable colours, brightness, duration, and visual effects for your device, surroundings, and the people nearby.

Do not operate the app in a way that distracts you while driving, cycling, operating machinery, crossing roads, or carrying out another activity that requires your full attention.

5. Feature-Specific Limitations

The app's controls depend on Android, the device display, manufacturer behaviour, hardware capabilities, and operating-system restrictions. Results may therefore differ between devices.

In particular:

• Brightness: the app controls supported screen-brightness behaviour, but does not guarantee a particular physical luminance, colour temperature, or laboratory-measured brightness level;
• White: the White feature uses the phone or tablet display as a white screen light. It does not activate a camera flash and is not a replacement for a dedicated flashlight or emergency light;
• Full Screen and Fluid Colors: these are visual display modes and are not calibrated professional lighting systems;
• Lock: Lock mode is an in-app control intended to reduce accidental touches while the clean display is open. It is not an Android device lock, security feature, parental control, kiosk-security system, or protection against access to the device;
• Auto Color and Fluid Colors: colour appearance and smoothness can vary with display technology, refresh rate, performance, power settings, and device capabilities.

6. Screen, Battery, and Hardware Risk

The app can display bright colours, static colours, white screens, high-brightness visuals, moving colours, or other display patterns for lighting and testing purposes.

Prolonged display of static content or prolonged use at high brightness may contribute to temporary image retention, permanent burn-in, uneven display wear, or accelerated display ageing on some technologies, particularly OLED and AMOLED screens.

Extended use may also increase:

• battery consumption;
• device temperature;
• display power usage;
• general device load.

You are responsible for monitoring your device, following the device manufacturer's recommendations, and stopping use if the device becomes excessively hot or displays unusual behaviour.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Naladimarth is not responsible for screen burn-in, image retention, battery wear, heat, display degradation, or other hardware effects caused by the manner, brightness, or duration in which you choose to use the app.

7. Health and Photosensitivity Warning

Flashing or rapidly changing light may cause discomfort or adverse reactions in some people, including people who are sensitive to flashing lights or who have photosensitive epilepsy.

Possible reactions may include:

• eye discomfort or eye strain;
• headache;
• dizziness;
• nausea;
• disorientation;
• altered vision;
• muscle twitching;
• seizures in susceptible individuals.

Avoid strobe or rapidly changing visual modes if you are sensitive to flashing lights. Do not intentionally direct flashing light at another person without their knowledge and consent.

Stop using the flashing or rapidly changing visual mode immediately if you or another person experiences discomfort or unusual symptoms. Seek appropriate medical assistance if needed.

The app is not medical equipment and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, or an assessment of whether flashing light is safe for a particular person.

8. Pixel Check and Screen-Test Limitations

Pixel Check and related visual tools may help you visually inspect a display for apparent dead or stuck pixels, colour differences, uniformity issues, image retention, or other visible characteristics.

Results are provided for informal visual inspection only. What you see can be affected by the display technology, screen protector, ambient light, brightness, viewing angle, accessibility settings, device processing, or your own vision.

The app does not provide:

• certified display diagnostics;
• manufacturer-approved testing;
• warranty eligibility assessments;
• professional repair diagnostics;
• laboratory-grade colour or luminance measurements;
• a guarantee that every dead or stuck pixel will be detected.

The app does not repair dead or stuck pixels and does not guarantee that a display which appears normal in the app is free from defects.

Decisions concerning repair, warranty, replacement, resale, or other financial consequences should not be based solely on the app. Where important, use the device manufacturer's diagnostic process or obtain qualified professional advice.

9. No Emergency, Safety-Critical, or High-Risk Use

The app is not designed, tested, approved, or certified as an emergency beacon, emergency-vehicle signal, traffic-control device, safety light, medical device, industrial-control system, navigation system, automotive-safety system, aviation system, life-support system, or other safety-critical product.

Do not rely on the app as the only means of illumination, communication, warning, signalling, navigation, emergency assistance, or personal safety.

You must not use flashing colours or other app functions to impersonate police, ambulance, fire, rescue, or other emergency vehicles or personnel, or in any manner prohibited by local traffic, public-safety, or emergency-services laws.

You agree not to rely on the app where a failure, interruption, inaccurate display, unexpected device behaviour, battery depletion, or incorrect use could reasonably cause death, injury, significant property damage, or other serious harm.

10. Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertising.

The current advertising design is an anchored adaptive banner on the normal Home control screen when that screen is eligible to display an ad.

The app is designed not to display the banner in functional clean-display modes or relevant modal/privacy flows, including:

• Pixel Check;
• White;
• Full Screen colour display;
• Fluid Colors;
• Strobe mode;
• locked clean-display mode;
• Quick Guide and How to Use;
• feedback flows;
• Improve Experience / Usage Analytics settings;
• Google UMP consent or Ad privacy choices screens.

Ad availability, content, personalisation, fill rate, measurement, and behaviour can depend on Google, eligible advertising partners, network availability, region, device settings, user privacy choices, and applicable law.

Naladimarth does not manually select every advertisement shown to a particular user. The appearance of an advertisement does not mean that Naladimarth endorses, guarantees, or recommends the advertiser, product, service, claim, or destination.

Do not click or interact with an advertisement unless you genuinely intend to view or use the advertised content. The app does not require, reward, or encourage ad clicks.

Ads and associated offers are also subject to Google's advertising and Google Play policies.

11. Privacy, Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Consent

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Crashlytics;
• Google Analytics for Firebase, when optional Usage Analytics is enabled;
• Google AdMob;
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).

Usage Analytics is optional and is designed to remain OFF by default. It is enabled only if you choose to enable Share usage analytics from Improve Experience.

Crashlytics is used for crash diagnostics and is separate from the optional Usage Analytics setting.

Advertising-related consent and privacy choices may be handled through Google UMP and Google Privacy & messaging. Advertising privacy choices and the app's optional Usage Analytics preference are separate mechanisms.

Depending on where you live, Google privacy messages may provide choices relating to European advertising consent or U.S. state advertising privacy rights, including available opt-out choices.

The Privacy Policy explains the app's data practices, advertising disclosures, EEA/UK/Switzerland information, U.S. state privacy information, retention, permissions, and privacy-request mechanisms in more detail.

12. Feedback, Email, and External Actions

The app may provide actions such as:

• Report a bug;
• Request a feature;
• open the Privacy Policy;
• open the Terms & Conditions;
• Rate us;
• open More apps by Naladimarth;
• open other relevant external webpages or store pages.

Report-a-bug and feature-request actions use your device's email application rather than a separate Naladimarth feedback backend.

After the app shows its feedback disclosure and you choose to continue, it may prepare an email draft containing only the following automatically added app/device information: app name, app version, app build number, Android version, device manufacturer, device model, and device locale. You can review, edit, or remove the draft contents before sending.

You control whether any email is sent. If you send an email, the address you send from, your message, and anything you voluntarily add will be processed by your email provider and received by Naladimarth. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

Feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature ideas do not give you ownership of future features that happen to resemble your suggestion. You grant Naladimarth permission to use non-confidential feedback you voluntarily provide for improving the app without an obligation to compensate you, subject to applicable law.

13. Third-Party Services, Platforms, and Links

Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, UMP, email applications, websites, advertisers, and other external services are operated by third parties and may be governed by their own terms, policies, and technical conditions.

Naladimarth does not control and is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, availability, security, privacy practices, purchases, claims, or content of third-party services, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Opening an external link or advertisement is your choice. Review the destination's terms, privacy policy, pricing, permissions, and other information before relying on or transacting with it.

14. Intellectual Property

The app, its original source code, software architecture, visual design, branding, original text, icons or graphics created for the app, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Naladimarth and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

“Naladimarth”, “RGB Screen & Pixel Check”, “RGB Screen Light · Pixel Check”, “Pixel Check”, associated branding, and related identifiers may be protected as trade names, trademarks, service marks, or other source identifiers to the extent recognised by applicable law.

Third-party libraries, fonts, platform components, Google services, and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses, terms, and ownership rights.

No rights are granted except the limited app-use license expressly stated in these Terms.

15. App Availability, Compatibility, and Updates

Naladimarth may maintain, modify, update, improve, add, remove, temporarily suspend, or discontinue features of the app when reasonably necessary.

Features and behaviour can vary depending on:

• app version and build;
• Android version;
• device manufacturer and model;
• screen size, aspect ratio, density, and display technology;
• hardware and system capabilities;
• power, accessibility, and device settings;
• network availability;
• regional legal or privacy requirements;
• third-party SDK or service availability.

Core display functions are designed to work without a Naladimarth user account, but third-party services such as advertising, consent, external links, and email may depend on network access or third-party availability.

We do not guarantee permanent compatibility with every present or future device, Android release, store, SDK, advertising system, or external service.

Updates may be required to maintain security, compatibility, functionality, privacy compliance, or continued access to certain features.

16. Prohibited Misuse

You may not use the app to:

• violate applicable law or another person's rights;
• intentionally harass, alarm, endanger, distract, deceive, or cause physical discomfort to another person;
• impersonate or falsely suggest affiliation with police, ambulance, fire, rescue, traffic-control, or other emergency services;
• intentionally interfere with road users, transport systems, public safety, or lawful emergency operations;
• use a device you do not own or control without permission;
• bypass, interfere with, manipulate, or fraudulently interact with advertising, consent, Analytics, security, or platform systems;
• use automated or fraudulent methods to generate ad impressions, clicks, interactions, or other artificial activity;
• distribute malicious software, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the app or third-party services.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a warranty, guarantee, remedy, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

18. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit Naladimarth to exclude or limit.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations for particular types of loss. In those jurisdictions, the affected provisions apply only to the maximum extent legally allowed.

19. Mandatory Consumer, Privacy, and Regional Rights

These Terms are not intended to waive or reduce rights that applicable law makes mandatory or non-waivable.

Depending on where you live, you may have statutory consumer rights, privacy rights, remedies, cancellation rights, warranty rights, or rights concerning unfair contract terms that continue to apply despite anything stated in these Terms.

This includes, where applicable, mandatory rights available to consumers in India, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, U.S. states, and other jurisdictions.

Privacy rights and advertising privacy choices are explained in the Privacy Policy. Where applicable, the app may provide Google UMP privacy choices for European regulations or U.S. state advertising privacy requirements.

If a mandatory law conflicts with a provision of these Terms, the mandatory law controls to the extent of that conflict.

20. Suspension and Termination

Your license to use the app may end if:

• you materially violate these Terms;
• you uninstall or permanently stop using the app;
• the app or relevant distribution service is discontinued;
• termination is required by applicable law or platform policy.

Naladimarth may also restrict access to a future network-dependent feature or service if reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical, abuse-prevention, or platform-policy reasons.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual-property protections, third-party provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing-law provisions, survive to the extent legally applicable.

21. Changes to the App or These Terms

Naladimarth may update the app or these Terms when reasonably necessary, including because of:

• new, removed, or changed features;
• security, reliability, or compatibility improvements;
• advertising or monetisation changes;
• privacy or consent requirements;
• third-party SDK or service changes;
• legal or regulatory requirements;
• Google Play or other platform-policy requirements.

The last-updated date at the top of this page will be changed when a revision is published.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, Naladimarth may provide additional notice through the app, website, store listing, or another reasonable method where required.

Continued use after revised Terms become applicable may constitute acceptance where permitted by law. Where applicable law requires an affirmative consent to a particular change, continued use alone will not replace that required consent.

22. Governing Law and General Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or conflict-of-law rules that apply in your place of residence.

Subject to applicable mandatory law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app are subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India.

If a court or other competent authority finds any provision invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted, modified, or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally possible, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Failure by Naladimarth to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any mandatory platform or store terms that apply to you, form the agreement governing your use of the app with respect to the subjects they cover.

Headings are for convenience only and do not limit the meaning of a provision.
